"Thomas, I'm sorry to hear that you feel this way.......while I respect your opinion, and appreciate the feedback, I'm having trouble finding where we dropped the ball in communication with you.......specifically referring to communication between you and my office. I can't control when/how State Farm processes refunds, bills, notifications, etc....but what I can do is make sure my team in my office, who are my employees, not State Farm's, strive daily to deliver the best customer service experience possible. I take your comments seriously. After reviewing your file, my team's notes, and the time stamps on all communications(email, phone, etc..) I am struggling to find an example of poor communication. I welcome specifics. However, what I can see in our extensive notes, are the multiple attempts made by several members of my team to try and assist you....including me. You never saw and possibly didn't know about the hours (not minutes) that I recently personally spent trying to have a refund check reissued to you, which State Farm did not have to do and would not have even considered if I didn't get involved to the level that I did. Fortunately, after a lot of effort and time we were able to get a favorable outcome for you. And I'm sorry for the inconvenience of needing verbal authorization to cancel your policies, but it's to protect our policyholders from fraud. If you own a cell phone or have an active email, which you apparently do, I would think that you'd appreciate this given the amount of criminal activity that we are all exposed to every day. If we had notes showing that you had limited phone access, like some who travel abroad or have professions that limit their phone use, or don't have a phone, we could notate the file, but our phone logs seem to clearly show that your phone works and it's a form of communication that you are comfortable with. Again, I'm sorry that you feel the way that you do about my agency. I fortunately have 9000 reasons to believe that some do not share that opinion by choosing us daily, and if that goes to 8,999 after today then so be it. Thank God we live in America where we can choose how/when/who/where to conduct our business. I do sincerely wish you the best. Don't forget to get us that verbal request as soon as possible so that we can immediately make your cancellation request effective. If you are incapable of providing a verbal request then please advise by email or text and we will make arrangements to verify the request by other means. Sincerely"

"An agent came out to our home to access the roof for insurance purposes. He turned in a report and said our roof was missing shingles and had curling shingles. Our roof in not missing shingles and does not have curled shingles. I called to speak to an agent. A Donna S. Jackson returned my call. I told her about the roof and she started telling me about hers and how much it was going to cost to replace it. I told her the agent gave false information and she told me "Our agents don't lie" I asked if she was calling me a liar. She ignored me and talked over me. I asked her three times and she continued to talk over me. The third time I asked I literally had to yell to get her to stop talking and answer me. She said, but, well, no. That the agent had turned in pictures and she went by their report. At this point I was very angry and Donna kept talking over me and ignoring anything I said and I angrily hung up. I have called back several times to ask for a copy of the pictures they turned in and now no one is answering the phone. So I give them a flat minus 0 for their courtesy, understanding, and wanting to listen to what I had to say. And if Donna S. Jackson worked for me; she wouldn't be at this time. She is a very rude and arrogant person and should not be allowed to work with the public on any job. Debra Casey"

"I had the fortune to have Geico double my rate mid contract, so I called my State Farm office (I had a couple other vehicles listed with) and talked with Rylee. She was very helpful and a delight to deal with. She worked up a contract that was perfect with me so I moved 6 vehicles over from Geico and couldn’t be happier. Give Rylee a call and get service like a customer deserves."
